“A triumph of performance and politics…Velour’s show immediately stands out from the crowd”

From the singular mind of “one of the world’s finest drag entertainers, performers, and artists” (attitude) comes a 90 minute drag spectacular like nothing you’ve ever seen.

Known for her emotional, thoughtful, and viral reveals, one of the world’s most iconic drag queens takes things to a whole new level in The Big Reveal Live Show. Over the course of this 90 minute, theatrical drag show, Velour combines high-concept lip sync performances, storytelling, her own childhood film footage, video art, politics and more, showing the drag superstar at her most playful and hilarious. From the show's whip smart comedic script to its iconic and viral-worthy gags, she uses comedy as a way to disarm audiences and hit them with emotional truths.

Loved by audiences and critics alike from San Francisco to Stockholm, The Big Reveal Live Show is an incredible work from a seminal drag artist.

GENERAL TOURING NOTES

  • The Big Reveal Live Show runs approximately 90 minutes with NO interval. It is built to play in sit down theaters - not for a standing audience.

  • The production is to be billed alone, no opening act is needed. Unless the market demands it, the show should stand alone

  • The production can travel easily by plane, but no flights can be taken on a show day.

  • The production can have a guest performer. On the European tour, a local drag artist performed one number in the middle of the show followed by a duet with Sasha. This is not an “opener” slot. The show can also be run without this slot and is currently setup to run without it.

  • A pre-show VIP Meet & Greet is an available option (no more than 70 patrons).

  • Artist typically does a post-show book signing of her book “The Big Reveal: An Illustrated Manifesto of Drag” which is managed by the Company with simple venue needs.

MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

VIDEO

  • Projector: 10,000 lumen minimum, front position, SDI run.

  • Screen: 16:9 aspect ratio projection screen. Size can be no smaller than 6M wide. Screen should hang in the air with the bottom edge approximately 40” above the stage deck.

  • Spotlight strong enough to compete with projector, in a center position in the space (not side).

  • Minimum of 2 LX pipes over the stage, in front of the projection surface with, at minimum:

VENUE TYPE

  • This production is designed to play traditional proscenium theaters where the audience is seated.

  • Minimum stage width of 10M, minimum depth of 10M, with a number of fly bars/rigging over the stage to hang lights, projection screen, black masking, etc.

  • Venus should have heating and cooling controls. Keeping the stage under 68F/18C is imperative for artist’s safety.
